What a crazy year and a half it has been. I never in my lifetime thought that we would be going through a pandemic like the one we are going through. I never thought my kiddo would be doing online schooling for 1 1/2 years of her middle school life. It is just so crazy. But I am thankful for my life and all the people who are in it... so I feel blessed!
That being said... here we are in the start of a pandemic and my best friend decides she wants to buy a new Cricut machine. I played around with hers before and I LOVED it... So, when she said that and offered to sell me hers, I said YES!
I have had my Cricut now for around 8 months now and I am still loving it. I think this hobby will be one that lasts FOREVER!
I finally have a heat press for the shirts that I create and for my birthday from my parents I got a mini heat press. I used my iron when I did my masks, but I felt like it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. I absolutely LOVE my mini press. I have used it now on a few masks and on some of my wood projects, that I will be sharing soon.
My new favorite trick is to use heat transfer vinyl on wood. It turns out so neat and it barely looks like the vinyl is there. When I used permanent vinyl on wood projects, you could feel the sticker on the wood, but this is a new experience and I am having so much fun creating with it.
I figured, why not create my craft blog to share some of my favorite projects I have done. Welcome, if this is the first time stopping by. And please let me know if you would like any projects done! I am having so much fun creating!
